Altapass Baptist Church - Spruce Pine is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services and Wednesday night Prayer Meeting.  We look forward to meeting you!

Prayer Meeting (Wednesdays)
7:00 P.M.

A typical service will last about 90 minutes.  We use the KJV Bible but nobody stands at the door to monitor what version you carry. LOL! We sing old hymns out of the green Broadman Hymnal.  Our children usually stay in the service.  Baby noises do not bother us at all!  However, if you need and enjoy childcare, just make it known to an usher and he will arrange it for you. Plan to shake lots of hands and meet lots of people.  We always test new visitors on names at the end of the service.  Nah, just joking on that one.  We worship the Lord! His grace and mercy is worthy of worship.  He took our place, offered a sacrifice we as sinners could never provide---He deserves way more than 90 minutes/week.  We truly are looking forward to meeting you, whether you are a brother/sister in Christ already or are yearning to learn more about the One who made you.  Come on home!
